The family-owned business offers both men’s and women’s clothing, men’s shoes, and home decor. Through its personal consultations and customized looks, J.T. Clothiers not only prides itself on providing stylish clothing, but extraordinary customer service too. This specific business strategy and mission is the core of what has made them so beloved for the past 50 years.

The Challenge

Bring their unique selection of products online as well as update the point-of-sale system.

J.T. Clothiers was looking to expand their sales channels. Specifically, the main goal was to bring their inventory and selection to an online platform. In doing so, J.T. Clothiers hoped that this business endeavor would increase sales channels, utilize updated technology that was most convenient for the target consumer, and improve its overall online and social media presence.

However, which platform would introduce the brand online and meet such needs the most effectively?

The Solution

Shopify is the way to go. 

The solution GSATi came up with was the creation of a new website on the Shopify platform, one of the firm’s most popular tools and one in which we are very familiar with. As a hosted eCommerce platform, Shopify is complete with over 70 different templates to choose from, as well as the ability to start from scratch. Shopify also has an extensive library of third party features and functionality that further enhances the customer experience and caters to the client’s vision. In its production phase, GSATi kept J.T. Clothier’s main goals in mind and created a website that was not only easy for consumers to engage with, but for J.T. Clothiers to update and monitor themselves post-launch. Specific Shopify features that were used include but are not limited to: unlimited products, analytics reports, and manual order creation.

Since its publication in 2020, J.T. Clothiers has experienced an influx of online sales and online relevance. Customers are able to browse J.T.
