DL: Name and position with GSATi?

CJ: My name is Cody Johns and I am a QA Tester Intern.

DL: And how long have you worked with GSATi?

CJ:
I've been here since two summers ago, so a little over a year now. I started out as the HR Accounting Admin, then was later moved to QA Testing.

DL: Where did you receive your education and/or experience in our field?

CJ: I'm currently an IT student at the University of North Texas here in Denton. I'm basically a Computer Science Major, but with additional focuses in Big Project Management Systems. I also had an internship with a company called CEO Trust where I created the spam filter for our email system as well as operated a content manager.

DL: What would you consider your greatest accomplishment during your time as a member of the GSATi Family?

CJ: I'd have to say my greatest accomplishment would be planning last year's company Anniversary Party. I dedicated a lot of time towards the project and it seemed that everyone had a pretty memorable time!

DL: What’s the most fun thing you have done at or with GSATi?

CJ: I really enjoyed working with the other QA interns. We were all seated in the same area and had a great time getting to know one another as well as grow in our profession as a team.

DL: What about your at-home family? Any pets or kids?

CJ: Well, my parents have some land in Tioga with five horses, one donkey, six turkeys and a bunch of rescue cats that are basically just barn cats we've rescued over the years.

DL: What is your favorite local restaurant or business on the square that you like to visit?

CJ: Personally? I love the Food Truck park we have here in town, especially the Dumpling Bros. They give such large portions for a great price and their dumplings are awesome!

DL: What's your preference, PHP or .NET and why?

CJ: I don't exactly have a preference between the two, being that my job involves testing within both programs, so I guess I like them both!

DL: What's your fondest office memory since you've been here?

CJ: One time, the other interns and myself decided to get creative with a Skype Team Conference and took our devices to the roof for a bit of fresh air and a new 'perspective' I guess you could say...It was so much fun!

DL: Why choose GSATi?

CJ: We have an awesome location downtown on the square for starters, but what really made me choose GSATi was the opportunity to apply the tech-related work I had learned in school to real-life situations and projects. Our company culture and services mold perfectly with my tech-y lifestyle, so it just seems like a perfect fit!

DL: I think you're absolutely right! Thanks for sitting down with me today.

CJ: Of course!

We are so delighted and proud to call Cody Johns a member of the #GSATiFamily. For staff profiles and more of what we offer here at GSATi, visit www.gsati.com and become a member of the #GSATiFamily today. Friends and clients welcome.
