MONDAY MOTIVATION: MUSIC THAT MAKES US WORK VOL. 4

Whether it be a cup of coffee or a quick scan of the Washington Post, everyone has a kick start routine to get that productive energy flowing. At GSATi, music can be one of the greatest motivators on a hectic day. Introducing MondayMotivation: Music We Work To. #GSATiFamily members share 3-5 song YouTube playlists of their favorite music to work to. Sit back, click play, and enjoy. This week feature's a few selections from Office Administrator, Brittany Black. Let's find out what Brittany has in store.

Name and Position with GSATi?

BB: Brittany Black, Office Administrator.

And what songs do you have for us today?

BB: So, I think it's safe to say that I'm a pretty big music fan, so I've made a crazy mix of choices. Here goes!

Crystallize - Lindsey Stirling

“This song is my #1 favorite at the moment. Really anything by Lindsey Sterling is sooooo soothing to me. I love it!!!!! It’s intimate and calming at the same time. Her music helps me focus at work and drowns out everything. Sometimes music with words and lyrics are distracting because i get caught up in the lyrics and start singing them in my head.”

The Great Gatsby - Young and Beautiful

“This song has been a favorite of mine since the movie The Great Gatsby came out. Lana Del Rey’s voice is so beautiful and haunting. This song reminds me of my upcoming wedding and my fiancé. I love him and our love.”

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood

“ I’m also a secret die hard Stevie Ray Vaughn fan. because let’s face it….. nobody jams like the Vaughn. He is the king of the blues if you ask me!”

 Sawyer Fredericks - 4 Pockets

You were right, that IS a pretty interesting mix you have there. So overall, what would you say is your favorite genre of music?

BB: Well, if 80s music counts then for sure 80s music!

If you had to pick any artist you'd have to listen to for the rest of your life, what would it be?

BB: Oh MAN! I don't kow if I could truly pick one artist, but I guess it'd have to be Metallica. At least with Metallica I'd have a lot to choose from!

HAH! I guess that makes for a good case. Thanks for playing along and for sharing your music with us today!

BB: No problem!
