MONDAY MOTIVATION: MUSIC THAT MAKES US WORK VOL. 5

Whether it be a cup of coffee or a quick scan of the Washington Post, everyone has a kick start routine to get that productive energy flowing. At GSATi, music can be one of the greatest motivators on a hectic day. Introducing MondayMotivation: Music We Work To. #GSATiFamily members share 3-5 song YouTube playlists of their favorite music to work to. Sit back, click play, and enjoy. This week feature's a few selections from Senior Front End Developer, Seanna Nichol. Let's see what Seanna has for us today!

Name and Position with GSATi?

SN:Seanna Nichol, Senior Front End Developer.

And what songs do you have for us today?

SN: This was hard! I listen to so much music all day long!I am all over the place with music that I listen to when I am working.  My Spotify has no pattern of music or playlists so here are 4 that I have been listening to recently.

Omnia - Shanghai

“ If I have a deadline, or a project that I need to just be zoned in on, my choice tends to be Trance. It focuses me.”

Lady Gaga - Poker Face

“ Gaga. Need I say more? It gets me dancing in my chair. Occasionally there are arm movements that get worked in so it’s a good thing that I work from home so people can’t see me.  “

Walk Off The Earth - Rule the World

“ Canadian. And I have a crush on the beard guy.”

Tie Your Mother Down - Live at Wembley 11-07-86 - Queen

“ Queen. The Supreme Rock Gods.”

So overall, what would you say is your favorite genre of music?

SN: Favourite genre of music...I would have to say jazz. It encompasses such a large catalogue of music that I could listen for years and still not have touched every aspect of it.

If you had to pick any artist you'd have to listen to for the rest of your life, what would it be?

SN: Hmmmm...I'm guessing I can still listen to other artists, yes? Then it would be Tony Bennett...he is amazing. He continues to record and perform and his compilation albums are fabulous!

Aw, I love Tony Bennett! Well thank you so much for sharing your wonderful playlist with me today. We're pumped to try this one out in the office.

SN: That's what I'm here for!
